Just wanted to check in and let you know how things are going with Calvin and Hobbes. The boys are wonderful – I can’t even begin to tell you how much joy they bring to our life. They are definitely momma’s boys!
The weather here is wonderful. . .but I can’t seem to get the boys back in the house! They absolutely love being outdoors. Hobbes didn’t hesitate to take the first plunge when we opened our pool this year – he jumped right in! I plan on teaching the boys how to swim, and get out of the pool on their own. (not that I would ever leave them unattended, but want to make sure they can get out if anything were to happen) They finished their beginner training classes. We did all behavioral training – not treat training! They listen most of the time. . .Calvin likes to test my patience!
Todd and I left the boys for the first time last week when we went on vacation. It was so hard – but I had a good friend stay at the house and take care of the boys. They did just fine! But they sure did miss us. . . my girlfriend is also a photographer, and she took some amazing pictures of the boys. Just wanted to share a few – they are so precious!
