About Us
Dawson Family Cockers is an inspected, State Licensed kennel and an inspected AKC licensed kennel. We are located in State College, nestled in the beautiful mountains of Central Pennsylvania. We raise the sweetest, healthy Champion line Cocker Spaniel puppies, who are very much a part of our family. We thoroughly enjoy their friendship and devotion as well as their love. Our Cocker puppies are raised in our home with lots of love and special attention to their needs. We have found that the Cocker Spaniel is one of the most loving and devoted dogs a family could ever have. Our girls visit the rehabs and Nursing homes and enjoy senior citizens. They also enjoy children, having visited schools as well as kids camps during the summer months. They love being in the middle of whatever is happening.
Cocker Spaniels are great family dogs. They were so good with our kids and brought us so much joy that we decided we needed to give other people the opportunity to enjoy the breed as well. It became my desire to raise quality pups with sweet and loving personalities, for loving and caring homes. We have been very careful to breed from the best of champion lines to help ensure the health, beauty, temperament, and standard of the breed. If you are interested in a Cocker Puppy, please complete the puppy application. We want to make sure that our puppies are placed in homes that are prepared for them. After your application has been approved, we ask that you send in a non-refundable $200 deposit to hold a puppy. All puppies are held in the order of the received deposits. The remainder of the cost can be paid when you arrive to take your new puppy home. All information about current litters will be at the top of the Nursery page. Our puppies will come to your home: tails docked, dew claws removed, socialization skills, first set of vaccines, health records, and guaranteed.
A Dawson Family Cocker will bring you years of joy and devotion. I look forward to the opportunity to talk with you.
Remember that all deposits are non-refundable and can be applied to a future litter. Please do no ask us to refund a deposit.
May God Richly Bless You,
Cheryl Dawson

“I first fell in love with Cocker Spaniels when I was 5 or 6 years old. I can remember being so excited seeing a Cocker Spaniel for the first time in our new set of World Book Encyclopedias. I decided at that age that I wanted to have one of my own. Years later, I got my first cocker when my husband and I were married, that’s over 45 years now. While our children were growing up, we had a wonderful buff girl named Allie. We soon ended up adding several more to our family.”
